In 2005, Richard, Barbara, and Michelle Maryatt went into business for themselves as Budget Blinds. Budget Blinds Portland Metro started as a home-based business, and for the first few years, was managed from their home and garage.
In 2009, the business opened a commercial location with a small showroom. Richard, Barbara & Michelle have strong ethics, heart, and family values. The challenges of growth are keeping the personal touches and consistent service levels that customers have come to expect.
Operating a small family business means our employees are like family. We find that our challenges are to instill a passion for the business, by providing inspiration and doing our best everyday. Working hard and treating each and every customer with honesty, integrity and respect has contributed to the success and growth of our business.
